The other world in religions

Of course the world religions were formed on base of the ancient traditions and beliefs. There are a lot of traditions that passed from the ancient beliefs into the religions. The main rites and ceremonies were transmitted to the religion's rites and ceremonies. And of course the ideas about the other world were also taken by religions. But of course every religion added and described the other world in its own way.
Religions accepted the conception of the other world as it was one of the main facts that proved that the life of soul is eternal and the life of body is permanent. First the conception of the other world was formed in Judaism. Later Christianity and Islam started to point on the ethic side of the person's life and this leads to the final division of the other world into the hell and paradise. In theological sciences the other world is always connected with the ideas of the punishment of sinners, of the immortal soul, soon resurrection of dead people and of change of people in the end of their history with the coming of Messiah and the establishment of the Kingdom of God.
So, the future immortal life of the soul of every person depends on his/her deeds on earth. And people have to help each other and to believe in God if they want to get to paradise where everything is great and people never feel sorrow. But sinners were getting to hell where they were suffering from eternal troubles.
