Paradise

In religion beliefs the paradise is the place where all pious souls live after the body death or after the end of the world. It is also the motherland of humanity where Adam and Eve were living before they were driven away from the paradise.
Usually paradise was situated in heavens however there are beliefs in the earth paradise that was the Eden. Paradise is the opposition to the hell. Such ideas are conserved in traditions of Christianity, Islam and many schools of Buddhism as well as in pagan traditions.
Eden is the garden and the place of the first living of people according to the Bible. According to it Eden was situated somewhere in the East. There was the river to provide water for the garden and then it was divided into four rivers. People who lived there were Adam and Eve that were immortal first and had no signs. But being seduced by the snake they ate the apple from the tree of knowledge of good and evil making the fall after which they lost their access to the tree of life and got the suffering. God closed the paradise for people and drove them out from it putting the angel as the guarder with the fire sword at its entrance.
Dante in his the Divine Comedy described the paradise through ten skies or heavens. And people were getting to the certain sky in dependence on the deeds and the person's body life. The last sky was the place of the God living. There was the river and the rose.
